Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a brand new company in the field of theatre. From 2014 through her appointment in 2019, she was the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company. As Artistic director of SSC she served as the composer/music supervisor for the company as well as a text teacher. Though generally leading from within the acting ensemble in the final year of her tenure, she began her career as a director (and lighting designer) with the SSC's King Lear.
